This classic 48" Flexible Flyer Steel Runner sled is ideal for sledding! Many adults have nostalgic memories of riding their steel runner sled during their childhood, and many still have the same sled! It is constructed with birch wood and steel runners. The steel runners are powder coated in a nice red color.
It is a steerable sled which is a great feature!
The sled turns with maximum control. Steer lying down with your hands, or in a seated position with your feet, or with a rope (not included) attached to the steering bar.
There are pre-drilled holes in case you want to attach your own rope.
This sled has good stability and double knee construction for strength and support.
Holds 250 lbs. Once the snow is packed with a few tracks, this is the fastest, most maneuverable sled on the hill. Super-slick red steel sled runners fly down the hills.
Recommended for ages 5 years and up, and durable enough for adults. You will see the sled when it is picked up.  No shipping; local pick up only.
