We know that having something on your back literally weighing you down is a tedious task, especially when you’ve got a difficult job to do. That’s why we’ve designed the Pygmy Hog to prove that it’s not all about size. This extremely lightweight, portable safety fall protection retractable is only 4.3 pounds and features top-of-the-line materials. Manufactured to perfection, the Pygmy Hog personal retractable fall protection is made from a durable ultra high-molecular-weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) & Polyester, and we’ve used a durable high strength thermoplastic polymer to build the sleek and lightweight retractable lanyard housing. The Pygmy Hog 11’ Self-Retracting Lifeline is equipped with a standard hook rebar connector which features a wide locking gate opening and large physical hook. Rebar hooks provide worksite versatility because they usually eliminate the need for a secondary anchor connector for the hook to latch onto - they simply snap and go. It is imperative to be aware that rebar hooks are only certified for specific uses and misuse can result in a citation or safety hazard. The Pygmy Hog Self-Retracting Lifeline features a labor-saving 360° swivel top connector, and an incredibly smooth payout and retraction with the side retractable lanyard exit from the housing. The retractable lanyard fall protection from the Pygmy Hog operates on a quick-action braking system. The braking system can support a worker weight capacity range from 130-310 pounds. The Pygmy Hog Self-Retracting Lifeline from meets the strict requirements of OSHA and ANSI and is so versatile it can work as a single unit or can be connected to another Pygmy Hog to work in a kit of two as a double retractable lanyard, with the user wearing both at the same time. *For overhead use only.
