Description
Vintage 40" Trail Breaker Child's Sled with Attachable Back and Rails Circa 1950sThe "Trail Breaker" is 40" long x 13 1/2" wide, with the steering arms extending out to 20 5/8" wide.
The sled sits about 6" off the ground.
The red, white and blue rocket ship logo has retained it's original bright colors. Excellent used condition. See pictures

The auxiliary back and side support piece is a wonderful addition for a toddler on a sled. It's adjustable for various size sleds and has the 4 original canvas straps that holds it in place. The bottom of the slats are concave to fit nicely on the sled's outer slats.
Dimensions are approximate:
The back is 13 1/4" high X 9 1/2" wide.
The sides are 6 7/8" high X 17 3/8" long
The metal brackets are adjustable and I think it can expand from about 11" to 13 1/2" wide
It will be shipped disassembled.
